Queer Dance Film Festival, will be held IN-PERSON in Oakland, CA
and online in the Gaylaxy on Sunday, June 2, 2024!
Queer Dance Film Festival centers international queer and trans dance performances showcasing diverse cultures and dance styles. Our live event fosters connections to queer dancers across the globe and highlights talent that is seldom seen in mainstream media.
Origin Story
We were inspired by our first and second annual QueerDanceCon virtual showcases of LGBTQ+ dance films from all over the world (United States, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Reunion Island, Germany).With overwhelmingly positive audience and community reception, we are creating a separate event to continue centering international queer dance performances.
